Curated Content with Fellissima
Ines Del Castillo is the founder of brand Fellissima, a platform that features interviews with a curated selection of brands and bloggers.
Hi Ines, thank you for chatting with us. Please tell us a little bit about your brand, Fellissima? Fellissima is a place where I feature bloggers and brands in fashion, beauty, travel, lifestyle and cuisine. I have always had a natural curiosity and a desire to connect with brands and bloggers in these industries and I also love the idea of sharing my interviews with others.
How did you come up with the idea for your brand and how did you get started? The idea for Fellissima just came to me one day. I had this little tradition to “interview” my children on their birthdays and the idea just evolved from there. I have now incorporated all the things I love into Fellissima.
What is your process for curating brands and bloggers you feature? How do you find them? I mostly look on Instagram and I look for beautiful photography, an aesthetic that is similar to mine and brands/bloggers that incorporate a love of nature and it’s beauty.
Tell us about the importance of focusing on sustainability in your brand? Sustainability is now my latest addition to the brands I interview. It’s been important in my personal life and I’ve slowly implemented more and more over the years. Even in my diet, I now mostly choose vegan and vegetarian options.
Who supports or inspires you? I am greatly inspired by creativity, by people that work hard and don’t let anything stand in their way.
What’s next for your brand? I always have so many ideas for Fellissima. I am hoping to grow and connect with a larger audience and keep featuring more and more like-minded brands and bloggers. There is absolutely no limit where this will go and I’m excited to be on this ride!
And lastly, tell us a bit about you? How do you balance work and life? I was born in Mexico City and grew up in the US. I lived in Chicago and Miami before moving to New York where I studied Fashion Design and Marketing. I now have a family and live in London. I feel very blessed to have lived in such inspiring cities where I have been able to develop an eye for beautiful aesthetics.
Work and life nowadays seem to intertwine more than they used to. I still try to keep them separate but I find that working in between family duties works well for me. I love having a flexible schedule because spending time with family is my top priority.
